Force fields

So, we landed on a planet. I use the term "landed" broadly, since we were shot out of the sky by a gun in a shield. Sadly, we can't take off again. That gun is keeping us stuck on the world, and we can't destroy it because of its shield. We have destroyed the robot factories and exploded every ship, but we can't get through the force field. What do we do?
