First describe what you tried to do, what you expected the game to do, and what it did instead.
Try to be precise. Details very important.
If you have a savegame or an error.log file they will be very helpful for Magellan to find and fix the problem (He gonna to 'start' to (publicly) work on prospector again in few weeks-months, according to my calculations.). You can send the files to him by email, post them here or send them via PM. Use whatever method is most convenient for you.

Email to send savegames to:
matthias.mennel@gmail.com
You can now also post savegames in the forum, whatever is more convenient for you.

What I tried to do:

Land at a specific spot (Ctrl-l) on a large asteroid and a dwarf planet.

What I expected:

To land safely.

What it did instead (Both times):

"Your pilot successfully landed in the difficult terrain"
"Pilot had gained 1xp"
"Fatal Error:key to continue"

I could land (l) without any errors. I only had an error when I tried to land at a specific spot.

What error.log says? You can find it in prospector folder (usually).
