Tried on a hackintosh and never got it to run either.
Not exactly helpful, I know...
There have been experiments to make a OSX version, but none have gotten very far so far. Maybe when I have 3 weeks off in july I will be able to try again.

, the only alternatives to this awesome game that I found for Mac are CDDA, Caves of Qud, ASCII Sector, Starbound (lol), maybe rimworld with mods, the other games are just not sci-fiish enough for my tastes :(

I found out the external HDD I installed a hackintosh on ages ago has died.
So the next step to finally get this thing going on OSX is to reinstall hackintosh.
