Definitely nay.
I don't see an actual reason and fun to play in the same universe, where you already know even approximately, where and what things to look for.
Exploration of unknown is one of the things that makes the game interesting because it plays different every time. It's better to invest your manpower into adding new encounters/events, shaping up the game, fixing bugs.
If there are various possibilities that may, or may not occur during a said run, that have probability to occur because of loose player actions, it's even better, because you never know what to expect and what new you can stumble upon. Now that is something worth to think about adding.
Repetitive universe = boring, unless there is some alterations. But even then, Random universe + Random events > Persistent world + random events.
