Can't equip crewmembers

Don't think it's a bug, but:
When I deactivate Auto-Equip (I like to have control over everything myself), I am not able to equip an Item which is more than one time in my inventory, example: A space suit, to two members of Crew. I can equip one member, but as soon as I choose the suit for another crewmember, the first equipped has no space suit anymore. Is there a work around (else than autoequip) I missed, or is this a programming issue?
And where do I put such threads for Problems, when I find them?

Hmmm did not realize this went unattended, ill try to find if there is a bug where you speak of , and if so we will get magellan to save the day.
If its not bugged ill try to explain a little further about your issue if i can find information about it.

Hmmmmm I tried it and went to the small space station and picked up the space suits, I think it may be a bug, i tried to equip each on but it did not work only the first one and then it disappeared, not sure how its happening.

Anyways Magellan might be able to figure out for sure if its a bug or a game design.
